Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website, opt-in form, and communications provided by Ngalame Empower Psychiatry ("we," "us," or "our"), a telepsychiatry practice led by Dr. Jackline Ngalame, DNP. By using this website or submitting our opt-in form, you agree to these Terms.

1. SMS Messaging Program

By opting in, you consent to receive recurring automated and/or manually dialed SMS text messages from Ngalame Empower Psychiatry, including but not limited to:

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

2. How to Opt Out

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. You will receive a one-time confirmation message, and then no further SMS messages will be sent. To re-subscribe, text START.

3. Supported Carriers

Our SMS program is compatible with most major US carriers. Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate and current contact information. You represent that you are the owner or authorized user of the phone number and email address you provide, and that you are 18 years of age or older (or the parent/guardian of the minor patient on whose behalf you are inquiring).

5. Disclaimer

Ngalame Empower Psychiatry provides telepsychiatry services โ€” evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management โ€” for patients located in Colorado, Florida, Kansas, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, and Washington State. Communications through this opt-in program do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and do not establish a provider-patient relationship until care is formally initiated. Virtual care is not appropriate for medical emergencies โ€” if you are experiencing a mental health emergency, call or text 988 or call 911.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ngalame Empower Psychiatry shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website, our opt-in program, or our communications.

7. Privacy

Your use of this website and opt-in form is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website or messaging program after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
